Berlusconi: I'm not selling Milan

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has insisted that he has no intention of selling the club. “I do not think I would be able to entrust our Milan to a foreign owner, or perhaps even to an Italian one.

“I do not think I would be able to entrust our Milan to a foreign owner, or perhaps even to an Italian one.


“My father said that I have the Milan crest tattooed on my heart, and I have no intention of doing a transplant.

“It would make more sense to consider the example of Real Madrid and Barcelona, a kind of popular shareholding but that’s not a pressing concern at the moment. Barbara [Berlusconi] in the future could become president.”

"Balotelli was signed despite my opinion," Berlusconi is quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"This year our finances have required us to make painful sacrifices, I would say almost heroic. However, there are lots of champions in the dressing room and the base is there. Plus there are no bad apples..."
