However, Galliani has told the Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday that he’s undaunted by Ibra’s quotes.
“Zlatan is very serene.We even smiled a little when we read how his interview was interpreted.
“There was no sign of rejection towards Milan at all.
“In fact, I’m sure that he’ll throw himself back into his work with the grit that we all recognise he has.
“Let’s all stay calm, because he will be the one to reload Milan.”
Even Ibra's agent,Mino Raiola, dispelled fears of an early retirement.
“Milan can stay calm,” the representative noted. “He’s upset with the loss against Juventus, but he’ll return to being the real Ibrahimovic in a couple of days.
“It’s clear that he doesn’t have the same motivation as he had three years ago, but he’ll play on until he’s 35.
“I don’t know if he’ll stay at Milan for another five years, as that depends on the club really. You need two parties to be in agreement, but if the club make an offer…”
