Pippo Inzaghi will have showdown talks with AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri today over his Champions League omission. Inzaghi, 38, was shocked to be left out of Milan's squad list by Allegri last week, says Corriere della Sera.
The veteran, upon learning of his axing, did not appear for training on Friday, after gaining permission from vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Today will be the first time Inzaghi and Allegri will come face-to-face since the decision was made. Allegri will meet him today, to explain the drastic but temporary decision.
A move to Atalanta is already being rumoured for the Italian legend.
