Milan: Aquilani more likely than Montolivo

The search for the midfielder is ongoing but there not seem to be any negotiations at the moment with any side. However, La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that the Rossoneri have two midfielders in their mind.

The first is Riccardo Montolivo of Fiorentina, whose situation remains unclear. Fior won’t sell for €10 million but the Italian media suggests that they want to keep him, despite stripping of the captain armband.

The other one is Liverpool’s Alberto Aquilani. While Adriano Galliani admitted that Aqua could be Mr. X, his agent did not rule out Liverpool stay. Gazzetta believes he’s the favourite right now as he would be cheaper.
