AC Milan are interested in signing Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, Fifa agent Giorgio De Giorgis has claimed.
The Serie A champions are scouring the market for possible reinforcements as they look to make some adjustments to their squad to mount a serious Champions League challenge.
Liverpool's Alberto Aquilani and Fiorentina's Riccardo Montolivo are both believed to be on the Milanese side's wanted list, but De Giorgis believes that the club's so-called 'Mister X' is City's Italian hitman.
"For the midfield, it will be Aquilani and Montolivo, but I think that Milan's true objective is Balotelli," he told Radio Sportiva.
The 20-year-old striker, who joined City from Inter last summer, has been strongly linked with a return to Italy after claiming he dislikes living in Manchester and revealing that he is homesick.
The San Siro has been tipped as a possible destination for Balotelli, and the striker classified Milan as 'a great club', stating that talks about a potential move could take place in the future.
De Giorgis added he does not think Inter's Wesley Sneijder will join Manchester City, especially if Arsenal's Samir Nasri moves to the Etihad Stadium, before adding that Carlos Tevez is 'suited for every club in the world'./Ghanamma/
