Cruzeiro's Lucas Silva is a new transfer target for AC Milan

The latest reports from Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim that Milan transfer guru Adriano Galliani is going in search of Silva as a reward for coach Pippo Inzaghi, who has turned things around after a grim 2013-14 campaign.

The latest reports from Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim that Milan transfer guru Adriano Galliani is going in search of Silva as a reward for coach Pippo Inzaghi, who has turned things around after a grim 2013-14 campaign.

Brazilian rising star Lucas Silva is on Jose Mourinho's shopping list and Real Madrid are also said to be interested in Silva.

Real Madrid are also said to be interested in Silva, but Milan may step in with a bid of around £5 million in January and hope that it doesn't trigger a bidding war.

Silva is youth player of Cruzeiro. In early 2012 he was sent on loan to Nacional-MG where he played just one match in the state league. In June 2012 he was called back to Cruzeiro and just 3 weeks later he made his professional debut in the Brasileirão when Cruzeiro played against Portuguesa.
