"AC Milan have turned to the Brazilian market to find a quality central defender that is not as expensive as the big names in Europe," news portal Lancenet reported.
Italian football club AC Milan is considering a move for Brazilian defenders Gil and Dede in a bid to fill the void left by Thiago Silva, according to reports in Brazil.
The portal added that both Gil and Dede are "experienced players at their peak", meaning they are ready to step directly into Filippo Inzaghi's first team.
