Injury Update: Yepes' sprained ankle is pretty serious, he'll have surgery to repair torn ligaments and then be out for 10 weeks.
This was today confirmed from AC Milan official website:
"AC Milan would like to announce that Mario Yepes, who picked up an injury during Bologna-Milan, has a abdly sprained right ankle with has torn his ligaments The player had a visit with Dr Niek Van Dijk, a specialist in ankle injuries, in Amsterdam today and the diagnosis has been confirmed. He will now have to have surgery to repare the damage. The operation will take place next week and the defender will need around ten weeks before a full recovery is possible."/acmilan.com/
