Van Bommel: "We needed the three points"

Here’s what the Mark van Bommel had to say after the game against Viktoria Plzen at the San Siro stadium:

"We needed the three points. We played well in some moments and they were good on the counter attack but in general we did well. We’ve played a lot of games in the last 2 weeks but we’re a strong side and when the injured players get back, we’ll be even better. But anyway, we’re doing well and come Sunday we’ll have another tough game.
The result at the Nou Camp is a good result for us because we got the 2 away goals and now we have three more points than Viktoria Plzen and Bate Borisov. If we beat Bate in the next game, we’ll be a step closer to qualification. Pirlo is a great player and a great person but for Juve he’s playing in a different role than he did with us. We’re three points behind Juventus, we haven’t started the season well, but if we win on Sunday, that’ll all change.”
