Amauri's agent says his client could join AC Milan in January

One of the agents representing Juventus’ Amauri has opened the door for a possible January move to Milan.

However Massimiliano Allegri's outfit may also have been in the hunt for the ex-Palermo frontman according to agent Ernesto Bronzetti.

“Let’s leave this until January, but there was a conversation with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani,” Ernesto Bronzetti told Odeon TV.

“If a few things fall into place then, at that stage, Amauri could be a source of interest.”

The Brazilian-born Italian international frustrated Juve officials over the summer after he refused to leave the club.

The Brazil born player has stated that personal reasons influenced his decision to remain at the Stadio Olimpico, much to the club's frustration, but Bronzetti seems to feel money played a part in his thoughts.

“Marseille offered him a deal, but it was worth around €7m over three seasons,"

“This season he’ll get €3.8m from just Juventus.

“There was interest too from Genoa, Palermo, Fiorentina and Parma, but they couldn’t handle his salary.

“Amauri also took the decision to stay for family reasons.”
