Abbiati: Only Real and Barca are stronger than Milan

Christian Abbiati says that Milan are among the best in Europe. 

“Only Real Madrid and Barcelona are stronger.”

Milan this year are without Andrea Pirlo,who after 10 years spent in Milan,now have signed with Juventus after he did'nt extended his contract with AC Milan.

“It’s not easy to replace a champion like Andrea Pirlo, but Alberto Aquilani and Antonio Nocerino are two Italian internationals,” Abbiati told the Corriere della Sera.

“Are we competitive in Europe? Only Real Madrid and Barcelona are stronger. Anything can happen over 180 minutes, as last season we went out against a technically inferior side.”
