Galliani: “Mr. X will not be a €40-50m player”

Milan chief Galliani simply cannot avoid the media now that he’s in China for the Supercoppa Italiana game, but instead of asking him about the game, the press insists on talking with him about the market.

The promised midfielder will arrive only at the end of the transfer window, and it is already clear that Milan won’t sign an expensive player, as they simply cannot afford the crazy prices of today’s mercato.




“If Mr. X will arrive, it will be in the last days of the market and it will not be a player who costs 40-50 million,”Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani said in a long interview with today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Milan have denied many times in the last days, but Real Madrid’s Ricky Kaka is still linked with them.

“It’s an impossible deal,” Uncle Fester added. “I do not know how repeat it. The salary of Kaka in Italy would be raised due to the tax problems.” Kaka is believed to earn €9 million a year with Los Blancos.
