Fiorentina reject Milan’s €7m Montolivo bid

Fiorentina have revealed before that they have rejected an offer from Milan as it was too low, and according to the Florence-based newspaper La Nazione, Milan have made a new bid.

The Rossoneri have apparently revived their midfield search despite the signing of Alberto Aquilani, following the knee injury of Mathieu Flamini, and the report says they made a €7m bid for Montolivo.

It is been that Fiorentina rejected this bid as well. Fiorenrina Sporting Director Corvino said that they will not sell Montolivo to any Serie A side, only abroad, but there are constant reports about the interest of Italian sides, including Roma in the Italian international, whose contract expires on June 30 2012 and who may be free to accept offers like free agent from January 2012 (6 months before the contract expires).
