Emanuelson eager to start new season

Netherlands international admits he is 'feeling good' as the start of the 2011-12 Serie A term looms for the defending champions.

AC Milan winger Urby Emanuelson is hoping to kick-off the new season with a bang as he looks towards a successful campaign filled with regular first team action.

The 25-year-old Netherlands international arrived at San Siro in January from Ajax and made just two starts in Serie A.

However, following an encouraging pre-season Emanuelson is ready to take the bull by the horns.

"It will be something new to start a full season with Milan as I arrived in the winter, so it will be good to start from the beginning," he told Milan Channel."I played in the summer friendlies and I am feeling good.

 I want to give the best for the team."I showed what I am capable of during pre-season and I want to continue doing well."The champions begin the defence of their Serie A title on August 27./Goal/
